How does W1 work?
The W1 enables charging your electric vehicle (EV) at home by connecting to your home’s electrical system. It offers a user-friendly interface for easy charging control.
Is W1 compatible with all types of EVs?
The W1 is meant to be compatible with most types of EVs. However, it's wise to confirm the charger's compatibility with your specific EV model before making a purchase and installation.
How do I clean or maintain W1?
The W1 demands low maintenance, but periodic cleaning with a dry cloth is recommended. Consult manual for specific care instructions.
How long it need to take to charge my car?
It depends on the output level and the car you have.
For example, The battery capacity of the Tesla Model Y Long Range Edition is approximately 75kWh.
Assuming we want to charge from 0% to 80%, which means we need to charge 60kWh of electricity
Using a 7kW charging station for charging theoretically takes approximately 8.57 hours
However, the actual charging time may be influenced by various factors, including the temperature of the battery, changes in battery efficiency during the charging process, and nonlinearity of the charging curve. Especially when the battery is close to full charge, the charging speed will slow down to protect the battery and extend its lifespan. Therefore, the actual charging time may be slightly longer than the calculated value.
